RISKMAP

Riskmap is a project in which a map of the nuclear risk in Europe has been developed as a discussion base for international nuclear liability law. Geographical distribution of the nuclear risk in Europe due to civil nuclear power plants (NPP) was calculated in order to:

• make visible the transborder risk
• depict the relative significance of each single NPP for a given area
• produce export-import matrices of the nuclear risk (liability regulations in the "Vienna Convention" and "Paris Convention"
